Tulisa the former N-Dubz’s singer and X factor judge has splashed out £6 million ($9M) on a luxury mansion on the outskirts of London.
The 24-year-old pop singer, whose full name is Tula Paulinea Contostavlos has recently moved into the five bedroomed mansion which is just a short distance from where she used to live for the last few years.
As can be seen from the pictures which were taken before she moved in that this is a stylish and expensively outfitted house with lavish interiors.
Situated in Barnet, Hertfordshire the house has five bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and four reception rooms. To help keep in shape there is a gym and also a swimming pool. To relax afterwards she can step into an on-site spa and sauna complete with a steam room.
And it doesn’t end there, it also a cinema room and a dedicated party room should you want to have some other celebrity friends around for an all-nighter.
The mansion is set in large landscaped garden with perfectly kept lawns, so she’ll either keep fit mowing them or have the gardeners round to keep them looking neat and perfectly manicured.
No need to get wet if she has a barbecue outside as there is a glass tunnel leading from the house to a large outside barbecue area alongside the swimming pool. There are also three garages where she can park her Audi R8 spider with a couple spare for maybe another run around vehicle.
Some of the neat gadgets she’s inherited from the previous owner include underfloor heating and waterproof TVs all of the bathrooms.
Tulisa had been looking for a new house for a couple of years and apparently fell in love with the Hertfordshire mansion as soon as she saw it.
She’s also not far from other celebrity neighbours, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and X factor winner Alexandra Burke also live nearby.
She also made a nice saving as she paid £1 million ($1.5M) under the asking price. One would imagine she will have taken out a sizeable mortgage as she said to be worth about £2 million ($3M) and earned £500,000 ($750K) for her time as a judge on the X factor. She has a book deal worth an estimated £1.2 million ($1.8M) and has an income from her perfume range “The Female Boss”. A few more deals like that and it won’t be long before the mortgage is paid off.
Tulisa was one third of the London based hip-hop group N-Dubz with her cousin Dappy and their friend Fazer. The group was formed in 2000 and recorded three studio albums before they decided to each go their separate ways in 2011.
In May 2011, Tulisa announced she was going to be a judge on the eighth series of the X factor alongside Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh.
In the May 2010 edition of FHM, she was voted number 15 in the “100 sexiest women in the world list” and in 2012 she topped the list.
