Vivienne Jolie-Pitt may only be four years old but she can already earn as much as a Doctor or lawyer.
Angelina Jolie’s youngest child received a salary of $3000 (£2k) per week for a small part she played in her mother’s latest film “Maleficent”. That’s the equivalent of $150,000 (£100k) a year, not bad for your first job as a toddler!
As Vivienne is employed as a minor, she will also get $60 (£40) per day expenses too.
Maleficent is Disney’s re-telling of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty but told from the evil Maleficent’s point of view. Maleficent is the wicked fairy and self-proclaimed “Mistress of All Evil”. After she was not invited to the Princess Aurora’s (Sleeping Beauty) christening, she curses the infant to “Prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die” before the sun sets on her 16th birthday.
The plot of the film focuses on the events that made Maleficent become the evil fairy.
Angelina Jolie plays the lead role of Maleficent and her daughter Vivienne plays the young Princess Aurora while the main part of the 16-year-old Princess Aurora is played by Ellie Fanning.
It was also believed that Vivienne’s older brother Pax and sister Zahara are appearing in the film but in smaller roles.
With a estimated budget of $200 million, filming began in London in June, 2012 in London. Seven-time Academy Award winner Rick Baker designed the special make up effects for the film and Post-production began in October 2012.
The Brangelina’s certainly like to keep acting in the family, Shiloh the six year old sister of Vivienne was also supposed to be in the film but on the day her part was meant to be filmed she was not in the mood for it and so will not be appearing in the film. This paved the way for Pax and Zahara to appear instead.
Shiloh did however appear in her father Brad Pitt’s film 2008 “The Curious Case of Benjamin button”.
